At the Besta NeuroSim Center, we believe that excellence in neurosurgical training is essential to prepare the next generation of surgeons. Thanks to the collaboration with Huvant, a technological spin-off of the University of Milan, we are able to offer even more advanced and realistic simulation tools.
The platform developed by Huvant integrates immersive virtual reality (Immersive VR) with 3D physical models, capable of realistically replicating the consistency of brain tissues, providing highly accurate tactile feedback. This cutting-edge technology allows students to perform neurosurgical techniques and procedures in a safe and controlled environment that closely mirrors the reality of the operating room.
The collaboration with Huvant enhances the educational offering of the Besta NeuroSim Center and strengthens our vision for the future of neurosurgery: a future in which competence, precision, and skills are developed and refined during training, before entering the operating room.
On January 31, 2025, we welcomed Prof. Marina Brambilla, Rector of the University of Milan – La Statale, to the NeuroSim Center. She writes on her Facebook profile:
