The Besta NeuroSim Center joined the EANS Young Neurosurgeons' Meeting in Catania from 3 to 5 May 2025. The meeting, aimed at neurosurgeons in the first ten years after specialisation, was conceived as a bridge between academic training and autonomous clinical activity, with the goal of promoting the exchange of experiences, professional growth and the consolidation of a European community of young specialists.
During the conference, participants had the opportunity to explore the most advanced technologies for neurosurgical training and simulation. These include the hyper-realistic three-dimensional models developed by Huvant, which make it possible to simulate surgical procedures in a way that is extremely faithful to reality.
Dr. Alessandro Perin, Scientific Director of the Besta NeuroSim Centre, served as course co-director and tutor, actively contributing to the training and scientific exchange between colleagues from all over Europe.
A valuable initiative that emphasises the central role of the younger generation in shaping the future of European neurosurgery.
