ASTRO-NETS is a collaborative initiative between the Carlo Besta Neurological Institute, the Neurosurgery Residency Program at the University of Milan, Deep Blue, and the HEAL Foundation. It aims to develop an innovative approach to neurosurgical training, drawing inspiration from other high-risk and highly complex fields known for their excellence in this area: space and aviation.
The objective is to develop structured, competency-driven, and measurable training programs by combining advanced simulations and virtual reality available at the NeuroSim Center with experiential learning activities. At ASTRO-NETS, we are committed to supporting the growth journey of today's young neurosurgeons, so we can better serve the patients of tomorrow.
