At the I.R.C.C.S. Carlo Besta Neurological Institute, medical students can participate in the daily activities of the department and observe surgical procedures in the operating room, gaining in-depth knowledge of the neurosurgeon's work environment.
Students can practice basic neurosurgical tasks using the state-of-the-art simulators at the Besta NeuroSim Center. Additionally, future physicians have the opportunity to contribute to the BNSC's research projects, participate in the center's programs and activities, and work on their thesis. This training experience provides a deep understanding of a neurosurgeon's work and helps build a strong resume for the future.
